One of my favorite places to view the sunset in Joshua Tree National Park is in the Cholla Cactus Garden. All the cactus spines glow in the last minutes of the sun rays and its absolutely magical. But be sure to stay on the trail because these spikey beasts are called jumping cactus for a reason. They will find a way to poke you!
